2011 Irish National TCC, Birr Castle

As part of the UK & I Chapter's determination to support Ireland in establishing it's own Chapter of the ISA, Russell Ball (President of the UK & I Chapter), and Craig Johnson, (TCC Chair & EAC Member), crossed the water to help with the set up, running and judging of their recent inaugral TCC held at Birr Castle in Co. Offaly, Ireland on the 6th/7th May 2011. Sybs Johnson also travelled to help with the administration, Owen Williams arrived overnight, and Grace Anderson flew in to help with gear check !

with terrible weather, fantastic atmosphere and between the organisers, the competitors, those there to support the Irish event, and the sponsors, a competition to herald the start of a new chapter in an old country. We were all honoured to be asked to help out, and as someone posted on the ITCA facebook pages, "the craik was savage" !!!
