ISA Tree Climbing Championships

Welcom to the Chapter's 'Tree Climbing Championships' web pages.

Congratulations to Jo Hedger and Scott Forrest our new chapter champions and very soon they will be heading for the worlds. A big well done also to both Phillipa and Jon, winning the European Crowns and places at the worlds.

Our chapter presence is going to be a big one this year with four climbers, Craig and Sybs on the ITCC team running the event and Colin Bashford waiting to hear if we have done enough to help him become the first none North American ISA President. So good luck to you all.

Next event is the Welsh and the last of the year, Saturday 30th and Sunday 31st of August
Saturday is prelim day starting at 9.30 am walk round so it is your responsibility to get signed in and kit checked before then, or you will miss the walk round and if you are then not ready to climb when the events start you will be DQ'd for being late to your station. Please make sure you bring Payment with your entry forms. Registration will be open from late afternoon Friday until dark and the calling of a beer and the camp fire. No excuses please guys we need to run to time. No lunch for climbers at this event but there will be food on site provided by the same team as we have had in Bute park the last few years.

Camping is Free and we have toilets and hopefully showers available. Dogs with well trained owners are most welcome. We are working on a BBQ which will be free for climbers, tecs and judges. Any budding or well hardened DJs amongst you please let me know if you would like to do a set.
