Treeline, Spring 2010.
Welcome to the Spring 2010 Edition of Treeline
Please find below the PDF of the current spring edition of the Treeline, the Chapters quarterly magazine. In order to view it you will need to have adobe reader 5 or newer installed, and the document is designed to be viewed as a two page spread with a single first page, and this option can be selected under the view menu in Adobe. This is the first time the Chapter has distributed its magazine electronically and it is intended to produce two a year electronically and two in the traditional print format and this is for a number of reasons. Mostly this will save the chapter some considerable cost both in time and money, and once again we are between Editors (the Treeline curse) so in this way it means we can continue with our service to you the member.
On that note, if you have some experience in the production of such magazines and you would like to volunteer your time as the new Editor, please don’t hesitate to contact me on this email address.
I would welcome any comments you might have, and you can also find a current contact list for all the officers on the inside back cover of Treeline if you need to contact anyone else.
One of the plus points of an electronic newsletter is that many of the articles have live links in them so as you can read further on the subject or indeed contact the authors, so please use this resource.
Please don’t forget to come along to the Celebration of Trees at Capel Manor College (details in Treeline) and say hello to those of us braving the element on the stand. If you can’t make that then the AGM is also looming in June (again the details are in Treeline) and you are most welcome to Moulton College to enjoy the Student Conference activities.
