Course Description:
In accordance with AFAG leaflet 403 (MEWPS for Treework) anyone using a MEWP must have had appropriate training. The International Powered Access Federation (IPAF) is lindustry lead body for access platforms and as such provides a suite of courses for the use of this type of plant. The IPAF training for category 1b machines covers the use of self-propelled booms (outriggers), trailers/push-arounds, vehicle-mounted platforms. These are the most commonly used types of MEWP for tree works.
