Jo Hedger and Scott Forrest. The event went really well and the atmosphere was great. Thanks go to our hosts Sparsholt College for their help and support, the officials who all worked tirelessly for the cause giving up their time and to the climbers for all mucking in and helping out. Special mentions for the Best Novice, Quentin Reynolds, who came eighth overall, official of the comp’ Tony Derbyshire and most of all to Stephen Donaghy for not only winning the Spirit of the Competition but for digging deep and giving his all, when he is still on the long road to a full recovery after a tragic car accident that sadly claimed the life of his younger brother in September last year. Hats off to you all. Next up we are crossing the Irish Sea to visit Tree Care Ireland’s HQ for workshops on 28 and 29 May, with the Irish Open on 31 May and 1 June. Hope to see you all there!
